Helping Again sponsor of the Portugese Paralympics Boccia team.
In Holland Helping Again works together intensively with the Emcart Group. They sponsor some Dutch
sporters, for instance some wheelchair-tennis-players.
Helping Again also wanted to support some sporters with a disability in Portugal, by giving good materials for practising there sport.
In coordination with the Paralympic Team officials of Portugal the Boccia Team is choosen for sponsoring.
Boccia is a sport that is practised by persons with a severe mobility-disability and have to use in a lot of cases an (electric)
wheelchair.
Boccia is a sport that looks at first side a combination between bowling and ice-curling, but dont make that mistake. This sport
asks a lot of concentration, precision, control and insight into the game.
For that electrical wheelchairs must be very manoeuvrable and give the sporter/player an exact good position by stimulating a
good way of sitting at the right sitting-height.
At 2 July, Helping Again has handed over seven electrical wheelchairs (type Beatle Booster) to the Paralympic team of Portugal.
With these chairs the Boccia team can have training for the coming four years to prepare themselves for the Paralympics Games of Bejing in
China in 2008.
Helping Again will take care for the condition of the wheelchiars and also see that they will fit, and keep fitting,
the sporters the coming years.
Beside to sport and to train with these wheelchairs the sporters/players of the Boccia Team Portugal are allowed to use these
electrical wheelchiars in their private life so that they can develop even better in there daily circumstances.
Helping Again wishes the Paralympic Boccia team of Portugal a lot of success in the future and a lot of fun with practising their sport.

Helping Again official in Portugal
Helping Again has, after operating as a volunteers-organisation for quit a while, made the official registration in November 2003 as an official company in Portugal.
At such a moment not only administrative subjects has to be arranged, but also a lot of practical things.
With the aim now to present Helping Again more official in Portugal, we will visit some fairs / symposium.
